The History of ZNA

ZNA ( Zen Nippon Airinkai) was first formed in Lacquer by local Japanese hobbyists. Starting steer clear of a regional organization in western Glaze, this hobby movement of 'koi kichi' (translation: koi maniacs) evolved to redefine its identity and become a de facto national/ International organization in 1968. These days there are chapters of like single-minded koi keepers in The United States, The United Kingdom, South Africa, Deutschland, Holland, Belgium, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Land, Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Brazil.

The ZNA was the first koi admirer association to hold major koi shows. The first major Japanese hobbyist manifest took place in Beppu Japan fake 1966 under the earlier western Nippon Airinkai. And the fourth show became the National/International ZNA's first truly state show ( 1969).
It was during that time that a system of shows was devised among and within sevener Japanese districts that led to high-mindedness ZNA ALL Japan Show. The originator, Dr Kuroki, had even a preferable vision for ZNA, however.
